CERAMICS

We can accommodate up to 10 people per class and can offer a structured format or can allow people to follow their own project with tutorial help if required. All the work is hand building – slab pots, pinch pots or coil. The classes run from 10 until 3 with morning coffee and a light lunch by The Gamekeepers Daughter, all materials and use of tools plus a first firing of your work. There is a woodburner in the barn for chilly days , but if the weather is kind we can have lunch together under the hornbeam tree! The cost for this entire day is £85 (with all refreshments included)

If a glazing and second firing are required , this will require a second visit to glaze your once fired pot at a cost of £15. The glazing allows for your pot to be food safe.

We can also offer a shorter 2.5 hour class for parent and child/children (10-12.30) This is an easier class for children age 8 and above, accompanied by an adult and following a choice of, for example a ceramic bird feeder or a monster pen pot. The cost for these classes would be £40 per adult and £10 per child and would include a mid morning refreshment and a first firing of any work

We can also offer private group classes for a special celebration or life event. Please get in touch with any ideas or proposals.

March 9th, Saturday - 10-12:30
£45 per person including mid-morning coffee and cake. Includes all materials and firing. Additional small charge for glazing and second firing
